To ensure a hassle-free registration, please have your credit/debit card and children's information ready.

Registration deadline is Monday June 30, 2008!

Important Upcoming Dates
 
  • August 5th - Coaches pick up rosters and equipment from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Foothills Middle School at the Wenatchee Park located next to the Senior Center
  • August 27th – Jersey pick up at Icicle River Company from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (located at 220 S. Wenatchee Ave.)
  • August 27th - Mandatory U6 to U7 coaches clinic from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Foothills Middle School. Coaches will receive their game schedule and new coaching curriculum.
  • September 3rd – Mandatory U8 and above coaches clinic from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Walla Walla Park. Coaches will receive their game schedule.
  • September 6th – First day of Fall soccer games
  • September 13th – Pictures tentatively scheduled at Newberry Elementary School
  • October 9th – Final games for U6-U8 players
  • October 11th to 12th – Apple Soccer Cup Tournament U10 and above
  • October 25th – Final weekend of soccer games for U9 and above
  • October 27th – Equipment Return at Western Mini Storage 1730 McKittrick (No late returns. Coaches please find a parent that can drop your gear off if you can’t make it.)
  • October 30th – End of year “Thank You Banquet” for Sponsors and Coaches.

Three Ways to Register:

  1. Early Bird Online Registration (SAVE $20!) TO RECEIVE YOUR $20 EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT YOU MUST REGISTER PRIOR TO MAY 31ST.
    AFTER MAY 31ST THE FEE IS $85!
    The fastest, easiest, and least expensive way to register your child is by registering online before May 31st. Before you begin please note:

    * Your child's age group on the chart to your left before registering.

    * The system will ask you for your username and password. If you've never player soccer, you'll have to set up a username and password for yourself. If you don't know your username and password, choose the option "I forgot my account information." It will be emailed to you.     If your email address has changed, please email the registrar at wscregistrar@gmail.com. The registrar will update the system with your new information and send you your username and password.

    Fall Registration Is Now Closed.

  2. Walk-in Registration
    Don't have a computer? On Tuesday May 27th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Foothills Middle School, board members will be available to help you register your child online, so you can still receive the $20 discount.

  3. Mail in Registration
    Mail your completed registration with your payment for $85 to the following:

    Wenatchee Soccer Club
    P.O. Box 1967
    Wenatchee, WA 98807.

    * Registration with payment and copy of birth certificate must be received no later than Monday, June 30, 2008.

Please Note: If your child has not played with the Wenatchee Soccer Club in the last year, you will need to mail us a copy of your child's birth certificate.

How do we register and how much does it cost?
When you register online or attend one our walk up registration, the fee is only $65 per player. However, if you mail in your registration form, you'll need to include a check for $85. In the past our board members, particularly our registrar, has spent weeks getting players registered. Because of the amount of time and money this costs the club, you'll now be required to pay a $20 processing fee.

How are the fees being used?
Most people don't realize the tremendous expenses incurred. We try to offset our expenses through company sponsorships, but there are still a great many expenses incurred such as: uniforms, equipment, insurance, referees, field maintenance, schedules, coaches clinics, state fees, and more. In Fall of 2007 we actually eliminated the mandatory fundraising fee, and we hope to be able to continue this.

What do you accept as a "proof of age" documents?
If your child hasn't played with the Wenatchee Soccer Club since our Fall 2007 soccer season, you will need to mail us a copy of your child's birth certificate.

How are teams formed? Can I request a coach?
The Wenatchee Soccer Club board will assign teams in a variety of ways. If your child is a returning member to a team, we will try to place them again on that team unless otherwise requested. If they have not played before, we try to place children based on their school, so they can play with others (if applicable) from their school. You can request a coach, however we cannot guarantee that your child will be on their requested team. We do try to accommodate all requests, so it is to your advantage to register as soon as possible for a better chance of team placement.

What equipment or clothing will my child need?
Each child must wear shin guards, or they won't be allowed to play. Also, if your child doesn't have a pair of all black shorts or socks, you'll need to purchase them. Please no lines or stripes on either their shorts or socks. We have partnered with Futbol Era (across from the downtown cinema) to provide you with either shorts and/or socks at a discounted rate.

Can I get a refund?
Refunds will be granted if the request is emailed to us by the registration cutoff date less a $10 processing fee. To request your refund email our registrar wscregistrar@gmail.com.
